1. Inspection Scope
Toppingdom may check selected order details such as quantity, model, colour, size, visible condition, logo, packaging, carton marks and basic operation where practical. The actual scope depends on the agreed service, available equipment, sample size, product type and access provided by the supplier.
2. Visual Inspection Is Not Laboratory Testing
Unless separately arranged in writing, inspection does not include chemical analysis, material composition testing, load testing, electrical safety testing, waterproof testing, lifespan testing, destructive testing, calibration, regulatory certification or independent laboratory verification.
3. Sampling
When only part of a shipment is checked, results apply to the units inspected and do not prove that every unit is identical. Defects may exist in unopened cartons or untested units. Full-unit inspection must be requested and priced separately where available.
4. Hidden and Future Defects
A visual or functional check cannot guarantee the absence of internal, intermittent or future defects. Inspection does not guarantee product lifespan, long-term performance, compatibility, resale success or behaviour after installation, transport, storage or customer use.
5. Supplier Documents and Certifications
Certificates, test reports, factory licences, brand authorisations and product documents supplied by a seller are normally reviewed as documents received from that seller. Their authenticity is not independently guaranteed unless official verification is specifically included.
6. Photos and Videos
Photos and videos are intended to help the customer review visible order details. Lighting, camera angle, screen display and compression may affect perceived colour, texture or size. Customers should request samples or exact measurements where these details are critical.
7. Packaging Inspection
We may check visible packaging and carton marks, but standard inspection does not certify that packaging will prevent all damage during air, sea, courier or local delivery. Additional protective packing should be requested for fragile, high-value or moisture-sensitive cargo.
8. Customer Specifications
The customer must provide clear specifications, reference photos, tolerances, required standards and prohibited variations before purchase. General descriptions such as “good quality,” “original quality” or “same as photo” may not be sufficient for objective inspection.
9. Approval to Ship
Where inspection evidence is sent for approval, the customer should review it promptly. Approval to ship means the customer accepts the visible information provided, subject to the stated limits of the inspection. Silence after a stated review deadline may delay dispatch.
10. Inspection Findings
If a material discrepancy is identified, Toppingdom may request correction, replacement, rework, supplier explanation or customer instruction. The customer should not assume a remedy has been agreed until it is confirmed in writing.
11. Regulatory Compliance
The customer is responsible for identifying destination standards, import rules, labelling, registration and certification requirements. Inspection does not replace legal or technical compliance review by a qualified authority.
